A very interesting 1982 interview with Norman Dodd, who in 1954, was the Staff Director of the Congressional Special Commitee to Investigate Tax Excempt Foundations (The Reese Commitee).

In this interview conducted by Ed Griffin, Dodd is telling us about his research into the tax-exempt organization, what they really get up to and what they stand for.

He alleges that the Carnegie Endowment, the Ford Foundation, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation joined together to alter American history and take over the whole education system in America, so the children can be indoctrinated into accepting a World Government.

Storyville description: Why We Fight is the title of a series of propaganda films that Frank Capra began making in 1942, with the aim of encouraging the American war effort against Nazism. Director Eugene Jarecki (The Trials of Henry Kissinger) has used the films as a commentary on the contemporary obsession of the American elite with military power.

He also harks back to a speech by President Eisenhower, who, just before he left office, referred to the "military-industrial complex". Eisenhower was worried that too much intelligence, and too much business acumen in America, had become focussed on the production of unnecessary weapons systems.

Since Eisenhower's time, everything has become much worse, as Eugene Jarecki describes it. The war in Iraq was made possible by a new range of weapons systems: a bomb called the "bunker buster" was dropped by stealth bombers on the first night of the conflict.

Is American foreign policy dominated by the idea of military supremacy? Has the military become too important in American life? Jarecki's shrewd and intelligent polemic would seem to give an affirmative answer to each of these questions.

Zeitgeist presents a theory on what Christianity, 9/11 and The Federal Reserve have in common.

The video is currently enjoying some acclaim around the web and is an interesting watch (despite the 2 hour length). Although it rehashes many bits and pieces from previous conspiracy videos, I think the main reason this film will enjoy popular success is the clever way the makers manage to cover a vast amount of material and "facts" in a simplistic way that doesnt confuse the viewer along the way.

I had a search around for some references debunking the movie or critically analysing it... but the best I could come up with was a discussion on the James Randi Sceptics forum. Anyway, at least it is one alternative point of view: http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=85264
